This site is managed by the South Island Tennis Association (SITA) which is a registered society that serves as the collective voice and advocates for the tennis community on south Vancouver Island.
SITA’s Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who are passionate about tennis and community. The Board is comprised of either the President or his/her delegate of the major tennis clubs and recreation centres on south Vancouver Island.
At the Annual General Meeting held on December 2, 2024, the following were elected to the positions as noted on SITA’s Board of Directors:

SITA also maintains connections in the form of “Friends of SITA” with the Oak Bay Recreation Centre (Simon Vickers, Tennis Program Supervisor), Bear Mountain Tennis Club (Russ Hartley, Tennis Program Supervisor), the North Saanich region (Heather Tasker-Brown) and the Pacific Institution for Sports Excellence (Robert Bettauer, CEO).
SITA is proud to support our provincial (Tennis BC) and national (Tennis Canada) governing sport bodies.
Please find the Agenda and approved Minutes of the AGM held on February 23, 2024. The Board generally meets twice a year (usually via Teams or Zoom), and ends the year with its required annual general meeting. Notice of these meetings will also be posted on this website. SITA’s Constitution and Bylaws (currently under review) will also be available on this site.
