The South Vancouver Island Tennis League is a registered, inclusive not-for-profit society open to the general public. The society organizes a doubles league each spring from mid-April until late June, named the South Island Tennis League (SITL). The event culminates with a bit of a celebration, food and accolades for the winners of the different levels. The League encourages players of all levels to join and is set up to ensure fair play among similarly rated players accordingly.

Games are played on public tennis courts that are reserved for league games all over south Vancouver Island for about nine weeks, once a week (historically, a Tuesday evening) at a set time of 6:00 pm until dark.

Registration opens each year mid-February. For more information about the League and where you can register your team for next year’s season, visit the league’s website: http://www.sitennisleague.org
